There you have it..the last episode of andyeats (for now at least). I was actually not able to complete the saltine cracker and white bread challenges. They were much harder then they originally appeared.
I hope my videos have inspired other eaters to go out there and challenge themselves. This has been a fun experience, and i will continue to search for new possible food feats. Thank you for all of those who have viewed the site.

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to take this opportunity to give you an update. Unfortunately the spring semester is coming to an end, resulting in the end to Andy eats.. for now at least. However, I will be doing one last challenge for you to enjoy.
Since it is the end of the semester funds are low…so I will not be attempting the challenge at Eagles Deli. I heard it was more on the pricey side, so we decided that maybe I will give it a run another time. In order to make one more video without spending too much money we had to get creative, resulting in “Andy eats mini challenges.”
In this video coming soon we will set up three different mini eating feats. The first one is the white bread challenge. It is said that it is not possible to consume two pieces of white bread in one minute. The next feat is the saltine cracker challenge. I will try to eat six saltine crackers in one minute, which some say also cannot be done. Lastly, I am going to time myself and see how fast I can eat a pack of five bananas, hopefully getting a time under three minutes. Look for this video post soon.

At approximately 9:00 pm last night I successfully ate 6 spike’s Junkyard Dogs, receiving a t-shirt along with getting my picture on the wall…

Spikes Junkyard dogs aren’t just any dogs. They are much bigger and more filling then the ordinary American hot dog. The hot dogs themselves were twice the size of the average dog size. The most difficult part of the challenge was the bread, which was essentially a sub roll with each dog. Although I completed the challenge, I learned that this contest is the real deal. We interviewed one of the spikes employees, and he stated that most people who start off trying to complete the challenge end up finishing nowhere near 6 hot dogs. I believed him after eating 3. I was half way done and I had honestly consumed more then enough food for the night. Once I was done with 4 and 5, I simply had gone too far to stop. They encouraged me to try for more, but I had hit my limit at the minimal 6 dogs.
This is a great challenge for those who want to see what they are made of with their eating abilities. I must admit I was over confident when going into it. After seeing the actual dogs and after completing the first 3, I knew this challenge was no joke. Check back soon for more blogs and video posts.

Hi Everyone..Just thought I should write something to ensure you that this project is still in fact alive, although I have not posted in a few days. Corey and I hopefully will be making the trip down to Spikes Hot Dogs in the next couple of days. Also, I have received requests for me to try and conquer the hamburger challenge at Eagles Deli…
According to Dustin Watson, The Sean Reilly is 6.5 pounds of hamburger, 5 pounds of friends and 1/4 pound of cheese; the Chillerama is 5 pounds of hamburger, 20 slices of cheese and 18 slices of bacon.
This sounds very challenging, but I am willing to give it a try. Thank you to those who have commented. Hopefully we will have the next video up shortly.

There you go.. If you choose to click on the youtube link above you will see that I did in fact successfully eat a Big Mac in one bite. It was tougher then I thought going into it, but it turned out to be a manageable feat. The challenge ahead is at spikes hot dogs, where I will try to eat 6 of their delicious hot dogs and get my picture on the wall. Visit soon to see the next video post.. |

This site is for the people out there who can really relate to the love of eating. For the next few months I will be going around to different places in Boston that have eating challenges set up for customers to conquer. I have been known for attempting many food feats in my day, and I would like to find some new challenges.
Not only will I be going to different local restaurants, but I will also be attempting food stunts that are looked at as impossible to some. In a matter of days I will be attempting to eat an entire Big Mac in one bite. Most people when asked say this absolutely cannot be done. I have done research around youtube and did not see any attempts. I did manage to find videos of people eating a Big Mac in two bites. I say this is too easy, and it is possible to take the classic burger down in one.
Look for the Big Mac video among other eating videos to come in the next couple of weeks. Feel free to comment if you have any new ideas.
